La Sylphide

This ballet is accompanied by the Portuguese symphonic Orchestra and tells the story of the young Scottish James, who does not feel welcomed in the bourgeois world and in marrying Effe. Although his heart belongs to Effe, James has wider dreams. These dreams are about another world and the Sylphide is the symbol of this world.
