Portuguese stamps from the Orient

For this exhibition, stamps with designs by reknown artists were selected. Almada Negreiros, Alberto de Sousa, Alberto Cutileiro, Constantino Fernandes, Martins Barata, Lima de Freitas, João Abel Manta and many others are a few of the names of Portuguese artists represented by this outstanding stamp collection. Here are shown some unique pieces that represent monuments, personalities, landscapes and important events, which happened in the old “State of India”, in Timor and Macau, in the second half of the XXth century.
