The sound and the fury
For the first time in Europe, this Theatre play that tells the story of the decline of the Compson family from the fictional county of yoknapatawphe in Mississipi, USA. William Faulkner portrays the image of a noble family, descendants of a great civil war hero, that becomes victim of the limitations of the problems of the reconstructed south - racism, greed and selfishness. Directed by John Collins and with the performance of great actors and a fantastic team, this is a debut (spoken in English with Portuguese subtitles) not to be missed.
