View over several city landmarks
In this photo one can see several of the city?s most important landmarks: the open-armed statue of Christ which watches the city from the south bank of the Tagus; part of the Ponte 25 de Abril, the bridge that was one of the most significant constructions for Portugal because it connected Lisbon to the south side of the Tagus, a trip that before had to be done by boat; and in the city one can see the ruins of the Convento do Carmo, the Santa Justa lift and the newly recovered shopping center of the Armazéns do Chiado.
