Museum of the Presidency of the Republic

This modern and interactive museum is set in the beautiful neighbourhood of Belém in a building right at the gate of the Presidential Palace. Here you will find interesting exhibits explaining the role of the president, the historical role of past presidents and the origin of some of the national symbols. You will also be able to see some of the fabulous presents that Portuguese presidents have received from visitors over the years. On Saturdays, you can even go on a guided visit to the Presidential Palace and Gardens (English, Spanish and French audio-guides are available on request).

Opening hours: Tuedays to Sundays from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
closed on holidays
