The Parque das Nações is the name given to the area where the world EXPO?98 took place. It has become the most modern part of Lisbon. With a centre for cultural activities, the Oceanarium, its own sports institutions and the Lisbon Casino, this area is one of the most attractive in the capital city of Portugal. There is a cable car with spectacular views over the river and the Torre Vasco da Gama has a luxury restaurant where one can enjoy panoramic views of the city.
